Help with StarOffice 5.2 on Intel 2.7 box

I just d/l'd SO 5.2 from Sun (Linux version).  Attempted installation
complained about the wrong glibc version.  I then tried to d/l and install
a recent version of glibc from ftp.gnu.org.  During self-configuration, it
said nobody has bothered to port it to my platform.

So, is there a trick to compiling the latest versions of code to OBSD, or
do I need to go backwards with SO to 5.1?
