Hello,
I'm trying to run seti_(_at_)_home on -current, but it doesn't work.
Therefore I downloaded the linux-static, freebsd 2.8 and 3.3
and the bsdi 4.1 version (in that order), and tried to run
them.
In my kernel I have compatibility for Linux, FreeBSD and BSDI
enabled, so - in theory - one of them should succeed...
Running the Linux binary spits out the copyright message, and
terminates silently. Running the FBSD 2.8 binary results in
"bad system call", and running the other two results in
"Abort trap". The last lines of ktrace'ing the Linux binary
are
23420 setiathome RET alarm 0
23420 setiathome CALL sigsuspend(0,0,0)
23420 setiathome PSIG SIGALRM caught handler=0x80682d4 mask=0x2000 code=0x0
23420 setiathome RET sigsuspend -1 errno -4 Unknown error: ,
23420 setiathome CALL fstatfs(0,0x2)
23420 setiathome RET fstatfs -1 errno -14 Unknown error: ,
23420 setiathome CALL exit(0)
Any hints are welcome!
Best Regards,
