Hi,
I'm setting up a firewall for home use, and I was wondering if it might
be possible to make a bootable CD with the firewall, and use a small hard
drive for /tmp and /var directories. Does anyone have any ideas about how
to do such a thing, and comments on it both positive and negative (from a
security standpoint as well). I'd most likely burn the configuration to a
CD-RW disc, and put a cheap 32-40x EIDE CD-ROM in the box to boot from.
Thanks,
Raymond
