As a reletive newbie to OpenBSD this brings up a question to me...
Some other Unix varients, Solaris for one, use the swap area as a crash
dump site. That is, should the system crash the OS will dump RAM to the
swap space and then offer to write the dump to a real file upon reboot
where it can be examined. So swap MUST be larger than RAM or you would run
into trouble.
Does OpenBSD have a similar mechanism? Or is the swap space requirement
solely dependent on run time needs?
Thanks much.

Subject: Virtual Memory
I just upgraded my computer from 64MB to 192MB of RAM. What size swap
should
I use? Lots of people suggest two times the RAM but can OpenBSD use a swap
that large?
Thanks,
Jeff
