Hello,
Just wondering if anyone knows what kernel option has to do with DNS. I'm
doing some experimenting, so I took out some kernel options in the GENERIC
kernel and compiled it and installed it. When I rebooted it came back up
ok but it cant get to anywhere on the web by hostname, just by IP. I took
the out drivers I didnt need pertaining to network cards, scsi cards,
sound stuff and the joystick driver. I'm remaking the GENERIC kernel now
but I was just wondering if anyone knew.
