Dear all,
could anybody enlighten me about how the kernel knows
the root device after boot up? In Linux its written
in the kernel using rdev. Also:
Whats the role of /etc/boot.config?
My installation on a JAZ disk fails when trying to mount
the root device for the first time and kicks me
into the debugger.
Thanx for helping,
Heiko
