Brad, I got a Dell 1300 with the aic 7890 controller, too. I had 512M
so I didn't have any memory problems. You've found out like I did about
the scsi problem. I went looking for a AHA-2940UW which was listed as
being supported, but couldn't find one. I settled for a AHA-2940UW Pro,
which 2.6 does support, and am happily running 2.6 on that machine now.
If I can help with any Dell-ish questions, ask. I deal with them a lot
and like them overall.
