ports, pgp cvs and make

i am new to openbsd, so i will appolgize up front if this silly question
or it has an obvious answer.

i build my machine with 2.5 generic with compiler via ftp. i am trying
build pgp2.6.3 via cvs  and the ports.  i have sucessfully cvs'ed the pgp
tree.  however, when i try to make i receive the following error:

Need version 1.92 of bsd.port.mk

what to i need to do?
