mounting Linux disk

I've freshly installed OBSD 2.5/intel. I have two IDE disks. The master
is used purely for OpenBSD. The second (physical, slave) disk has some
Linux (ext2fs) partitions on it. I didn't bother to edit it when I was
setting up my drives during the install since I wasn't planning on putting
anything new on it.
When I boot the drive is detected (wd1), but when I try to mount one (or
any, for that matter) of the partitions on that second disk they don't
seem to be there. 'mount_ext2fs /dev/wd1a mountpoint' tells me that...I
forgot exactly what...but basically that it doesn't know the partition
exists. I can do an 'fdisk wd1' and it shows me the partition table
though.
Does this have something to do with disklabel not being set up on the
disk?
Help? Thanks all.
