ppp connection

hello !
i have a problem, i´ve read the man file for ppp and all the files in
/etc/ppp/* but i can't get my ppp connection work.

when i type ppp -background
i says using tun0 ......

and then it stops, i can se that it finds the modem.

can anywone explain how to do, and maybe somone would like to send me
their ppp.conf :-)

i'm using pap
and dynamic ip.
