I remember reading a while back that egcs wasn't ready for "prime
time" under OpenBSD, that it actually produced slower code than gcc.
Using a recent 2.5 snapshot and egcs-stable out of the ports tree, is
this still the case, or is it worth using egcs now (eg does it give
performance gains similar to what it gives under other free UNIXes)?
