I think OpenBSD is more secure, I just implemented network on it, use
ipf, ipnat, I tried to invade my own site with no success. A great point
of weakness of all systems is the user identification. An user login
name and password limited to 8 characters is easy to break.
Unneeded services is another point of weakness, WWW with phf, nfs with
wrong permissions, anonymous ftp enabled in a restrict access server...
think about this. See your own network, find all possible backdoors and
you see...
