Hi
I'm having big trouble compiling mysql under OpenBSD 2.3 i386 - the
machine is a P75 with 16 meg ram.
I'm using the latest version of MySQL: mysql-3.22.4-beta. First I
followed the Install file - no joy.
Then, following the "how to compile mysql on openbsd - solved"
I did the:
cd mit-pthreads/
./configure --host=i386-unknown-netbsd1.2
delete line from include/sys/__unistd.h
make
cd ..
./configure --host=i386-unknown-netbsd1.2
make
I leave it to compile for a few hours, then when I check again I get:
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-unknown-openbsd2.3/2.8.1/libgcc.a(_fixunstfdi.o):
Definition of symbol `__GLOBAL_$F$_usr_src_gnu_usr.bin_gcc_libgcc2.c'

Any ideas? Is this a mysql, openbsd, or user problem? It was fine under
FreeBSD 2.2.5
