Something I forgot to add in my last e-mail.
While I was trying to make a telnet connection from my Mac through the BSD
box to my Internet host, I did a netstat on the Internet host - I came up
with a connection as coming from the address 192.0.0.2, which is the
address on my ethernet of my Mac - so ipnat is obviously not translating
the address, but the BSD box is routing packets through the ppp link (which
I guessed from the flashing modem SD light).
Also, my problems happen whether gated or routed are running.
