Application oddities (2.1 sparc port)

Hi,

I'm seeing several strange problems getting various applications
running on the sparc port.

 . INN 1.5*, none of these releases seem to want to work, using
   the default config.data with a few changes.  If I start innd
   I get something along the lines of 'active file empty', when
   it plainly does have entries there.  If I modify to use mmap()
   then I can get innd to start, but nnrpd bombs out with some
   other problem.  I'm currently making do with 1.4unoff4. :(

 . knews 0.9.8, will build and run, but quits out (no core,
   clean exit) after posting with 'Error: Cannot perform realloc'.

 . slrn 0.9.4.3, compiles but refuses to accept any keyboard input,
   i386 users that I have asked said they have no problems.

I've experienced all these 3 problems under the NetBSD 1.2 sparc
port too.  Does anyone have any of these running under /sparc?
