Hey with all my exams out of the way, I've actually got some time to
play on my machine. Sorry, if you're all getting tired of seeing posts
from me.
Problem with /etc/services. I've the the following lines
bootps 67/tcp dhcps #bootp protocol service
bootps 67/udp dhcps #bootp protocol service
Now, bootpd doesn't get launched. 8( However, if I remove the dhcps
aliases, then it does work. So, something isn't getting parsed
correctly because according to the services manpage the format of the
services file should be:
protocol port/type aliases #comment
Don't know if this is a known problem or what. It's not a bigee, but I
thought you guys would like to know...
