Why do we have a libcrypt at all?
Its an empty library - only there for compatability with NetBSD -
but as it has a differend major number to the NetBSD version it
isnt used by NetBSD apps. Also now that nothing in the OpenBSD
source tree uses it the _only_ reason to have it would be
'compatability' at link time for external source, so makefiles
with -lcrypt do not break.
Shouldn't we just lose it - or only build a static version at
least?
