Hello List,
I am new with OpenBSD and *nix in general. I was reading the INSTALL.sgi
and read below from the file that references OpenBSD 3.8.
Is this snapshot called OpenBSD 3.8 or is it a mistype in documentation?
I'm not sure if releases other than -stable have different references.
I did not know where to post this and thought this would be the best place.
To integrate more smoothly in other environments, *OpenBSD 3.8* also
provides, on some platforms, several binary emulation subsystems (which
includes iBCS2, Linux, OSF/1, SunOS, SVR4, Solaris, and Ultrix
compatibility), aiming at making the emulation as accurate as possible
so that it is transparent to the user.
Thank you,
rogern
