>Environment:
System : OpenBSD 3.4
Architecture: OpenBSD.sparc64
Machine : sparc64
>Description:
I have set local-mac-addresses? to true in OpenBoot, and reasonably expe
cted that `ifconfig hme0 address 0a:0:20:a8:00:01` would be sufficient to assign
a unique MAC address to the onboard ethernet adapter for 192.168.0.1. The outpu
t from the above command is 'ifconfig: address: bad value'
>How-To-Repeat:
ifconfig address properly:formatted:mac:address::
(relevant only if local-mac-addresses is set to true in openboot, if I u
nderstand correctly)
>Fix:
<unknown>
