Dell PERC 3/Di controller.

Hi,

The problem I've got is that I don't see any disk(s) to install OpenBSD on. I'm trying to install via FTP. I'm using the bootdisk: floppyB29.fs. The machine I'm using is a DELL 2500 PowerEdge with a Dell PERC 3/Di RAID controller.

I've asked people on IRC (openbsd channel on DALnet and on EFnet) for some info about this problem. After some talking they advised me to send in a bugreport. I've also posted a query on tech_(_at_)_openbsd_(_dot_)_org (http://www.monkey.org/openbsd/archive/tech/0106/msg00055.html). But only got one answer.

These are the error messages that I connected to my controller:
 "Adaptec AIC-7899F" rev 0x01 at pci2 dev 4 function 0 not configured
 "Adaptec AIC-7899 U160" rev 0x01 at pci2 dev 4 function 1 not configured
 aac0 at pci1 dev 2 function 1 "Dell PERC 3/Di" rev 0x01: can't find mem space
 "Adaptec AIC-7899F" rev 0x01 at pci4 dev 4 function 0 not configured
 "Adaptec AIC-7899 U160" rev 0x01 at pci4 dev 4 function 1 not configured
 aac1 at pci3 dev 2 function 1 "Dell PERC 3/Di" rev 0x01: can't find mem space

I've included all messages from the boot sequence in a TXT file, in case these errors above could be a result of previously errors.

The solutions I've tried are:
1.	Talked to DELL support, but the had no drivers for OBSD.
2.	Updated firmware for the Dell PERC 3/Di controller.
3.	Boot with snapshot disk: floppyB29.fs.
4.	Changed IRQ on controller.
5.	Disabled the COM ports and the USB port.
6.	Erased the RAID containers and created new ones.
7.	Installed Windows 2000 to see that the controller works.

Hardware spec:
Modell:	Dell 2500 PowerEdge
CPU: 1GHz PIII
Memory:	512MB
Disk(s)	1 x 9GB SCSI U3/160
		2 x 18GB SCSI U3/160
RAID: PERC 3/Di with 128MB

RAID configuration:
Container0	VOLUME 1 x 9GB
Container1	RAID1 2 x 18GB
