I just reverted to version 1.27 of elink3.c and 1.10 of elink3var.h,
but compiled with everything else current. It doesn't fix the
problem.
I wonder if the problem could be in the FreeBSD pcmcia code on
September 11. (The kernel that works is from around September 4.)
