 I agree. I think md5 shouldn't be there.
 
 For instance, I see no problem with calling it /sys/kern/kern_md5.c or some
 such name.
 
 (To be honest, I hate the idea of kernel libraries.  It's not a strong idea
 since there is little or no re-use of the modules contained there)
