NE1000 doesn't work with GENERAL kernel
Hello,
I've got the problem mentioned in the subject - NE1000 cards doesn't work
with 2.5, in two different machines, two different cards that work
with Linux and did worked in OBSD 2.3.
I can surely narrow down the problem to the ne1000 with the -c flag on
booting - if I disable ne, then everything (else) works. Even if I leave it
enabled but change its io port to something different it does boot.
(IRQ setting doesn't seem to affect the problem.)
The problem occurs with both the install floppy and the GENERIC kernel,
and I can not install sources to compile a custom kernel withou the card.
Does anyone has any idea what should I try?
