Several Linux distributions ship vi clones as their vi, and it drives me
crazy. "Improved" is clearly a matter of opinion. It's ok to ship with packages
of different vi clones (if the licenses allow) and to allow the user to choose
what the vi name actually runs, but IMO it's NOT ok to ship anything other than
vi as the default vi. vim is not vi. elvis is not vi. vile is not vi.
