GENERIC.MP fail on Transmeta TM5600; How do I investigate without serial?

Hi,

bsd.mp.i386:
i386;OpenBSD 3.5-current (GENERIC.MP) #49: Fri Jun 11 09:07:28 MDT
2004;Transmeta TM5600@600MHz (Sony Vaio C1VE laptop), with 384M RAM,
single IDE disk, 3COM 3CCFE575CT PCMCIA LAN;fail during boot

single IDE disk, 3COM 3CCFE575CT PCMCIA LAN;make wget/ntp/firefox ok,
X11 and general browsing/editing ok;no problems

bsd.mp.i386 just stops dead in boot after:
cardslot0 at cbb0 slot 0 flags 0
cardbus0 at cardslot0: bus 1 device 0 cacheline 0x0, lattimer 0x20
pcmcia0 at cardslot0

This laptop has no serial port - any suggestions as to how I can capture
additional info on the bsd.mp.i386 boot failure?

Regards,

Simon Moore
