I ran across this book in the "dust" bin at my local bookshop.

Linux Device Drivers, from O'Reilly.

How close are Linux Device Drivers to openBSD device drivers?

My first thought is that baring the differences in the actual kernel 
interface routines they ought to similar enough to make this book 
worth $15cdn.
