remote update RAMDISK
I was thinking about taking the ramdisk config in distrib/i386/ramdisk
and having the resulting rd include openssl, sshd, and an ssh2 pub key,
this would allow techs using this kernel (who inserted their ssh2 pubkey into
the build of the rd ) to remotely update
a system geographically far removed from them by booting this kernel instead
of the production kernel. Address assignment could be done in the init by
grabbing that info from the previously installed system after fsck was done.
This could largely eliminate the need for a console server in rack mounted
servers located say in havenco :).
Input, critiques etc??
