Talking about that here doesn't change anything.  Go ahead, talk to IBM.

In the same way that we've used user advocacy to get information out of
hardware vendors, YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.  We, developers for the
project, in general cannot.  YOU must ask IBM.
