I'm getting 470KBytes/sec on my 486DX66 downloading through an Intel EtherExpress Pro 100+ connected to a LANCity cable modem from Adelphia.

I used to get 200KBytes/sec tops with my NE2000 cards, which used up all of my cpu handling interrupts.  The Intel card never tops 20% of cpu.

I got my Intel card by finding the spot on their web site where you can buy evaluation units.  They sent me 2 for $39.95...
