Anything change does away with the _PORT_USE macro is a good thing
and worth more than a slight amount of port tweaking (IMHO).
That there are few existing ports that use pre- or post- scripts
makes this an easy thing to do.  A quick perusal of the ports tree
shows:

	astro/sattrack/scripts/post-patch
	audio/xcdplayer/scripts/pre-configure
	games/xasteroids/scripts/pre-configure
	games/xmris/scripts/pre-configure
	games/xsol/scripts/pre-configure
	mail/elm/scripts/pre-configure
	news/leafnode/scripts/pre-install
	x11/viewfax/scripts/pre-configure

That's not too much to change (again, IMHO).
