current kernel compilation

it drives me crazy
Re done the cvs up, checked the TECNOGI config kernel, config TECNOGI,
cd ../compile/TECNOGI .... make depend ... and than ...
make: don't know how to make ../../../../dev/pci/if_mx.c. Stop


suggestions?
