Dear all,
after I have discovered OpenBSD a short while ago it quickly grew on me
and I'd like to contribute to the project in return for the work that
you share so generously. I don't have spare hardware or lots of money to
donate, but what I have is time and motivation to do any work that you
consider suitable. How can I help?
I read the information about porting on the web pages. As a programmer I
have experience with C++ and makefiles (my background is Win32, though)
and I believe that I'm capable of porting simpler programs (not large or
security relevant packages).
I don't want you to waste your time with babysitting a newbie, so please
tell me frankly whether you have any use for me. Is there some kind of
entry-level porting task that I could try to see for myself (and prove
to you) whether my skills are up to the task?
Kind regards,
Daniel
