MIGHT work for a specific case... but a Really Bad Idea in general.

OpenBSD is intended to be used as a "system" -- kernel, userland, and
ports all in sync.  Break the sync and whine about the results, we
beat on you. 8)

Just rebuild the entire system.  Or stick to the proper ports tree.
