patch: unrecognized option `-z'

I just updated my ports tree with cvs and now everytime I type make I
get the following error message.

patch: unrecognized option `-z'
Usage: patch [options] [origfile [patchfile]] [+ [options]

Stop in /usr/ports/sysutils/lsof (line 1484 of
/usr/ports/infrastructure/mk/bsd.port.mk).

I've tried to make a few different packages all with the same result.
Any help would be appreciated.
