I have a new port of Evolution up at:
http://www.lectroid.net/projects/ports/evolution.tar.gz

I fixed the local folder complaints (very obvious permissions error -
duh) and fixed a scrollkeeper installation issue.

If you have already installed and run the "old" port then you'll want to
run "find . -perm 444 -exec chmod 644 {} \;" in your $HOME/evolution
directory... unless you like the pop-up error dialogs :).
