Summary: DJB slashpackage

Everybody who contributed to this thread: thanks.

I plan on doing the following:

Hack daemontools so that it installs in LOCALBASE and behaves like
the 'old' daemontools.  Put a big warning in MESSAGE that points to the
slashpackage webpages and any other issues relating to it.

When this is no longer feasible: mark it BROKEN.  Same goes for other DJB
tools that may get converted to slashpackage.


That may be a good compromise for the (long) time being.  slashpackage may
well go the way of QMTP, EPLF, MXPS, etc.  Even the clearly superior
maildir format took a _long_ time.


I _am_ a bit suprised that no one took the bold stance that we should
convert our ports system to slashpackage.  =)
