Imho, OpenBSD focuses on things in the correct order:
Correct code
Correct manpages
Correct faq/howtos
While it is unfortunate that doing things in this order tends to shut
out newbies, it is absolutely critical it be done this way. Imagine what
would happen if developers spent time writing howtos at the
expense of writing bad code with undocumented interfaces. The day that
the faq is more correct than the manpages is the day I find another OS
to run. :)
