My SoundBlaster is under water...
Hi
I'm running 2.4 (yes, I must go to 2.5, but our distributor don't have it yet and
I have a slow and filtered net connection)
I'm only curious about the possible cause (hardware-driver problem asociated with
that) :
I've installed a :
sb1 at isapnp0 <Creative ViBRA16X PnP, CTL0043, , Audio> port 0x220/16,0x300/2,0x388/4 irq 7 drq 0,0: dsp v4.16
audio0 at sb1
(16X, not 16C)
I've added : sb CTL0043 #Creative ViBRA16X PnP Audio
to /usr/src/sys/dev/isa/pnpdevs, make & make the kernel, because I suppose no major
differences between X and C (wrong, of course!)
The nearest line was : sb CTL0001 #Creative ViBRA16C PnP Audio
The problem is that, when I try to play a mp3, the song sound like under water
(blub-blub effect).
Any ideas ?
(the card is completly dry :-) )
