You know, maybe I will.
I always considered it hard to write a book.
Especially if you've never done it before as you don't know
about publishers and all that stuff.
But guess what, maybe I will. Because it still is easier to write
a book about OpenBSD than to contribute to its scattered,
out-of-date, incomplete and only-for-devs-to-(never)-work-on "FAQ".

Guess why there are a number of books out there about
OpenBSD, but OpenBSD *STILL* does not have a worthy
FAQ / documentation after 10 years of existence???

I wonder why? Could it be because devs who don't care about
it demand that only they themselves write it or noone?
I guess so.
I offered Nick Holland to send him a correction for the badly out
of alphabetical order packages list for 3.5 i386 (which isn't even
part of the FAQ).
His answer: More or less: No interest.
So why should I try to invest my time into something even bigger,
if even small contributions are not accepted if you're not a team
member? Sorry. No will do.
Maybe I like starting with small things first.
And that's why the "FAQ" is in exactly the state it is in now.
If you think the "FAQ" is just fine the way it is I'm surprised you're
not using windows. After all, windows is also just "fine the way
it is", isn't it?
I wonder who should go back to windows here. Someone who
cares about quality AND documentation or someone who can't
keep a shoenail from a banana appart.

Most of you guys who answered me here are just a bunch of
empty noses-in-the-wind who never contributed anything
themselves. That's the only explanation I have for your lack of
care about quality documentation.

Further replies will probably be ignored, I'm getting
tired of all your repeats and ignorance of facts.

Greetings,
Mark
