Re: Again?: Mouse in console

O.K. I give up.
This is pointless, we're just going in circles (again).
I'm obviously not making any progress here.

I didn't realize this was such a big tabu break I was asking for.
It just seemd like a rational solution (or suggestion) to a given
problem.

Not changing anything will do just that: It will make sure nothing
ever changes.
In the case of source code and man pages that's good I believe.
In the case of the rest of the documentation and the work
load on one man alone, Nick Holland, that's bad.
That just was and continues to be my oppinion.
All I wanted was to allow those people wo need the documentatin,
the newbies, to work on it themseves, since the devs obviously
don't have the time or will to do it. For this, while still ensuring quality,
a few changes would have had to be made, but that's such a big tabu
break with OpenBSD, that you all really don't want to hear about it.

Oh well, at least I've tried. :-)
I just feel sorry for Nick and all the bad blood raised about
questions which could have been answerd in a better docu.
But I suppose now, this is part of OpenBSD's appeal to many of you.

I thank you all for your time, those that read my mails,
and for letting me challenge existing beliefs and structures.

Maybe sometime in the future, when this is all forgotten,
someone else will drive at this from another angle and then
maybe we'll be luckier. I guess we'll all see if we're still around
then. :-)

Greetings,
Mark Schmid
