Only because it's New Years Day, and I'm somewhat out of it and not
feeling like doing anything important, do I waste my time to point out
that this really sounds like my three year old: "No, I'm not
whiiiining; NO; NO; NO."

And you most certainly do want a privilege from everything I can see.
You want to be taken seriously. You've pretty much pissed that away.

Now, some advice for you, since you so freely continue to dispense
your's: Have you ever considered checking if the development and
documentation policies, procedures, and structure of a different OS
might not be more to your liking? If you checked out your history a
bit, you'd find that you're not the first to have different notions of
how to develop an OS than Theo and the other OBSD developers, nor, I
suspect, will you be the last. Some things are indeed done a bit
differently elsewhere.

However, Theo, et. al., are the ones putting time, money, and vast
effort into their project, and as far as I'm concerned this earns them
the right to do it however they wish to do it. For whatever sane,
insane, whimsical, pragmatic, dull, or just plain perverse reasons they
wish to share or not share with the rest of us. I hang around because I
find the end result exceedingly useful for some of my computing needs,
not because they're doing every last thing the way I would.

Yours for a more productive balance of 2005,
