You are right and I am wrong. When I stared to write my email, I had only
put the 'locate' one and then to be sure, I ran the weekly script to verify
the name, etc. Then I saw it built the whatis db. I then added the 'whatis'
to my comments on 'locate' wrongly assuming it wasn't done as well as
'locate' wasn't. I should have known better!

Agreed as it would be temporary anyway, but that was just a thought. Not a
big deal really. Sometime I just used locate on new install and as it wasn't
there, I simply built it. I didn't know however the first time and I search
about it, juts to find out it was there a few days later not really knowing
where it came from. That was a few years ago, but just though to suggest it,
nothing else.
Sorry about my miss assumption above however on the whatis db.
That was bad of me and I stand corrected!
