Well, I've done the signup and await the password as you suggested just
in case you're right but in the past, the type of documentation the OBSD
developers need was only available with a signed NDA. The particular
thing I remember from conversations with Theo in 2001 is HiFn will not
release documentation on how to program the HIPP in the 83x0 and 43x0
but I'm sure there are a lot of other "lacking" documentation issues on
their other product lines (795x) that I don't recall.

Maybe you are right and HiFn may have changed their ways or maybe you're
wrong and you've confused what HiFn calls "documentation" with what
everyone else on the planet considers correct and required
documentation. In the past there's been quite a discrepancy between what
HiFn provides and what the open source world actually needs.

I just hope you're right about both the NDA and the docs but I somehow
doubt it...
