 I personally recomend [1] BincIMAP. It's a fast and easy to install
 [2] "tcpserver"-based IMAP server. I was having speed issues with 
 Courier-Imap, then tried to swith to Cyrus and got almost the same 
 problem; and after trying BincIMAP I feel myself in a very
 fast and confortable environment.
