Re: songs playing too fast



I am using xmms for playing mp3 files. I also tried with mpg321 and 
mplayer. What I found was the songs are being played at 44.1 kHz sample 
rate as mentioned by you. whereas my dmesg output shows the following,

auich0: measured ac97 link rate at 48001 Hz, will use 48000 Hz

Also, the audioctl device doesnt give any output, it says "Operation not 
supported by device"
