Sparc64+pop3 issues

Hi all,

I upgraded to a OBSD3.3 Sparc64 platform, everything seems to be running fine.
I installed from /usr/port/mail/imap-uw, modified my /etc/inetd.conf, and initiated a kill HUP.
When I try to retrieve my email using pop client, I get a dialog box saying (The pop server 
marvin rejected the password for user "foo" please reenter your password or press cancel).
The password is correct, yet I can't retrieve my email.
