Nah, that is the chipset who is unsupported.
Less work to go back and switch that than to develop a new driver.
I've got a Linksys WPC11 ver. 3. and that is a prism2 chips.
(gee I was really nervous when I was testing that in
the store. Has waited 3 month for that card. ;)
Just say:
This crap is not supported by OpenBSD, (show dmesg/ not configured stuff at your laptop),
(mention that Linksys has switched to a newer chipset who is NOT supported, and left you in pain
whith this useless card.)
and I've been very busy for a while so I could'nt came here before.
Of course has I saved the receipt and all of those stuff.
Say that you want to switch to an another wireless network card, who is supported
by OpenBSD (print out the wi-manpage), and test that in the laptop in the store.
Rembember to thank the store for help.
(Of corse switch the word crap with someting polite and a nice word.)
Just be polite and appointed, so this MAY works.
(sorry if there is some wrong with my englisch. ;)
