Re: Install problem on Dell Cpx



Actually, i think i nailed the probelm to the "Stray Interrupt 15"
thing. If I use a cd drive(a borrowed one) instead of a floppy, this
message goes off and the network/machine behaves quite nice.
   
   I replaced the cd-drive with the floppy drive( all modular bays)
and try downloading any large file, the machine hangs after a while
and i have to just power it down. 
   the network card is a 3com 556 pcmcia 10/100/modem combo card
someone suggested that i play with atactl since 15 is the interrupt for 
ide. but i have no idea what to do with atactl even after reading the
man page. 
  If this is the way to go please help ??
