Well, those people should be shot for their inattention.

What are they supposed to do?  Lie?  Make something up that sounds 
good?  As far as I can tell, #2 applies to life in general.

It may not be fixed but it does have workarounds.  And I think I have 
much more faith in the developer's efforts than you do, i.e., if all 
they were doing was being assholes then we wouldn't be seeing any 
results like ProPolice, etc.
