Issue with PCMICIA nic under 3.2

Hi folks,

Anyone know how I can get a SMC 8041TX 10/100 PCMCIA nic to work? All I
can find on the chipset is that it uses an ADMTek chipset. I imagine it
is kin to the other SMC cards based on that same (according to
i386.html)
(tulip) chip. The 8041 is SMC's current 16bit pcmcia card line. It is
one of those "dongle-less" cards.

Apropos dmesg output:
"SMC, 8041TX-10/100-PC-Card, , " (manufacturer 0x1bf, product 0x8041) at
pcmcia0 function 0 not configured

Any ideas on how I can get this to work?

I did a little searching in pcmciadevs and pcidevs but no match for
0x1bf.

There was one time in the past where I had to hack the vendor/product
codes in the kernel source to get one nic to work but that has been a
long time - wouldn't even know where to start this time.

Thanks,

Chavous
